Emilio Coppola leads the Godot Foundation as its Executive Director, guiding the growth of the free, open-source Godot game engine. He started out making games and teaching others how to use Godot. With his background in web development and startups, Emilio now oversees the Foundation's work. He manages funding, allocates resources, and helps Godot
I learned how to program on the Commodore 64 back when I was ~8 years old, making dumb little games in BASIC. :-) Ever since then, I've been making games on and off!
Now I'm a Godot contributor on the XR and GDExtension teams, and work for W4 Games. I make my own little games in Godot, primarily focused around VR or online multiplayer.
Adam is a former lawyer turned game development Swiss-Army knife. Since 2022, he has turned his focus to Godot. Since December 2023, he's a full-time contractor for the Godot Foundation, where he works hard on much-needed features for the engine, such as GDScript refactoring tools. He's also the Web team lead because he loves the platform.
