No plan survives an encounter with real users and in this talk we will discuss the adjustments we made to Xogot in response to both direct feedback and the humbling reality of crash telemetry.
After a while, we were very happy with the results, but the ecosystem was growing, and with it came the need to expand our support for Godot beyond editing games on iPad. So we went back to our opinionated roots on API bindings and took on the challenge of bringing a rich and comprehensive set of Apple APIs to Godot, helping game developers monetize their work and create deeply integrated experiences.
But having APIs is only half the battle, and so we set out to bring joy and delight to game developers interested in targeting Apple platforms. In this talk, we will discuss how we married our love for Apple platforms, Godot, and modern user interfaces into the new version of Xogot.
