I will provide an update on what major changes have happened within the renderer over the last two years with a focus on technical hurdles that we have overcome and the major limitations that we are now seeing.
I will also provide a brief look at the future of Godot's renderer including what to expect in terms of new high end features and the long term vision for the renderer.

I've made a lot of games in Godot such as Endoparasitic and Wrought Flesh. I have a lot of tricks I've built up over the years I use in my games, such pseudo-3d effects with CanvasLayers, drop shadows using CanvasGroups, and shader tricks with SubViewports.
